Terry de Havilland designs one-off platform heels for Liverpool Love exhibition



Couture shoe designer, Terry de Havilland has teamed up with Liverpool Love exhibition to create a one-off unique pair of platform heels featuring the faces of Liverpool’s famous scenesters for charity. Liverpool Love is an exhibition celebrating the city through the artistic contributions of leading artists. A collection of 28 pieces curated by Merseyside-born artist Christian Furr will open in the Museum from 28 September and be displayed until 25 November. Conceived by Christian alon with Vaughan Davies, Liverpool Love aims to bring together contemporary works by artists that symbolise their love and connection to Liverpool and its people. This custom pair of shoes from Terry de Havilland, pictured above, were designed using digitally printed satin and leather. The Liverpool Love exhibition will raise money for Claire House, a local charity organisation which provides respite and end-of-life care for children and young adults with serious medical conditions, as well as support for their families.
