A company steeped in tradition and heritage 47 Brand was originally dubbed Twins after founders and twins Arthur & Henry D’Angelo. Having been born in Italy the pair arrived in America at the age of 12 where they made a living shining shoes and selling newspapers.

However in 1947, realising the passion of sports fans in their local Boston, the budding entrepreneurs hand crafted felt pennants. As a symbol of fans loyalty, the pennants were wildly successful and laid the foundations for the twins to open a store across from Fenway Park.

Over the next three decades the twins expanded their operation and began selling souvenirs to baseball stadiums across the country. 
Proudly, Arthur’s four sons entered the family business and the company ventured into the production of licensed baseball caps.

In 2005 the family run company joined force with a small upstart apparel brand who were making a name for themselves producing the finest sports licensed apparel. Using new techniques and vintage finishes, Banner Supply Company established its own distinct fit, feel and finish that sat perfectly alongside the brands existing offering. Built on similar values – quality, comfort and durability – the partnership was natural and has seen 47 Brand become one of the most revered lifestyle brands both in and beyond American sports.
