IVANOVA Autumn/Winter 2014

For Autumn/Winter 2014, Ukrainian womenswear brand IVANOVA, founded by designer Lena Ivanova in 2007, presents a collection of simple, feminine garments that follow Lena's aim to create beautiful, versatile fashion for the everyday woman.
Autumn/Winter 2014 is all about simple lines, acute angles and restrained colors. Double layer dresses, much like a shell and core, represent duality of a reserved nature, with strong emotions ripening inside and perfect peace and confidence on the surface.

Natural fabrics, predominantly linen and cotton, are used throughout the collection to enhance IVANOVA's casual, preppy appeal. Meanwhile, light trimmings, such as chiffon, organza and lace add a dash of elegance to the collection. Similar to previous seasons, there’s an emphasis on almost hidden but important details, including small, pointed collars and outspoken transparent pockets that show attention to detail.

IVANOVA’s founder, Lena Ivanova said, “I’m delighted with the outcome of this collection. The IVANOVA brand continues to develop season to season and the reaction I’m getting from my customers, both regular and new is simply fantastic. My main focus with this collection was to ensure that there was an effortless day to night appeal in a number of the looks, and I feel I’ve achieved that quite well.”
The prints seen in this collection were designed by graphic designer Ignat Zavada exclusively for IVANOVA using traditional techniques. The beautiful brooches dotted throughout the collection are those of Ukrainian jewellery brand Fredinskaya Jewelry, founded in 2009 by Olga Fredinskaya.

IVANOVA’s Autumn/Winter 2014 collection is stocked in a number of boutiques across Eastern Europe.
