Marks & Spencer Launch the Limited London Collection

The in-house design team at Marks & Spencer were inspired* to create capsule collection for Limited Edition conceived in the M&S studio at Fashion Street, Shoreditch. The aim was to capture the spirit of the vibrant London fashion scene, whilst incorporating Marks & Spencer’s unique Plan A ethos through the manufacture of the garments.

The 16 piece collection consists of stylish separates in quirky prints and interesting fabrication. Voluminous skirts and cropped tee’s sit alongside statement denim and simple jersey for an eclectic aesthetic that embraces unique London style.

The M&S studio at Fashion Street is a creative hub for the M&S design teams and was the catalyst for this collection. East London has long been an epicentre of creativity, which can be seen through the social and architectural diversity of the area. This unique backdrop and the digital influence now informing our everyday lives, has been a driving force behind the look and feel of this collection.

As well as being manufactured in Plan A approved eco-factories*, all of the Limited London garments are made using recycled fabrics; including cotton and polyester*. Creating a collection for a generation, who not only care about style but also care about the sustainability of fashion.

*Eco-Factories use significantly less resources than other factories; including less energy, less water and less waste to landfill

*The recycled content of fabrics used ranges from 25% to 100%
