Cacharel and L’Oréal Make a New Pact to Continue Their Visual Story

Born out of an association between fashion, fragrance, and imagery, the enchanting adventure upon which both brands first embarked in 1978 continues to this day.

 

The story of this journey follows the scented trail left by Anaïs AnaïsCacharel'sindescribably dreamy and youthful first perfume. It was a fantastic success, ending up the best-selling women's fragrance worldwide in 1981. Anaïs Anaïs, which represented originality and fantasy for the girls who could not get enough of it, would eventually come to symbolize Cacharel. The French marketing magazine Stratégies later awarded the brand first prize for advertising. 

 

Next came the era of LoulouAnaïs Anaïs's insolent little sister and Cacharel's second fragrance for women, which was celebrated in Sarah Moon's eponymous film (winner of the Lion d'Or at Cannes in 1987). Girls everywhere began following Loulou as she danced along, seeking to join her on the furtive trajectory of her waking dreams by fully indulging in Cacharel.

 

Other mythical fragrances would follow, such as Noa in 1998. Known as "the prodigious perfume," it received the FIFI Award for "Best European Perfume" in 1999.

 

Today, following the worldwide success of the best-selling perfume Amor Amor (launched in 2003), Anaïs Anaïs Premier Délice is the neo-romantic scent for a new generation of baby-faced girls. And the story continues, with Cacharel's recent renewal of its license with L'Oréal. The coming years promise many new fragrances and unique tales.

 

Over the course of this exemplary adventure marked by fashion, fragrance, and sublimation through imagery, Cacharel has invented the code for a poetic mood when it comes to creation, one that is hazily etched into a single name, which has become a brand.
